Today a delegation of Sangarsh- A movement for Justice, Equality, Peace, Prosperity and Brotherhood under the leadership of Chairman Mr. Ashok Singh and President Mr. Krishan Dev Singh met Vice chancellor, University of Jammu and raised the issues including the issues of prior agenda already submitted with the name as “Justify Truth”. Beside all those issues the delegation raised the issue of conducting JURSEA election as easily as possible without any biasness as delay in elections is creating polarization among scholars and is also raising several questions in the justness of the office of Election Commissioner. The members of the delegation raised the issue of sealing JURSEA office for which elections going on should act in a neutral way.
Founder member of Sangarsh Mr. Ranjeet Sharma gave several inputs to the highest office in the University of Jammu for raising the standards of research scholars and for promoting scholarly aptitude among the aspirants in the campus. Mr. Ranjeet Sharma appealed to the Vice chancellor for sponsoring the scholars to attend the All India Conference who are supposed to present papers in the conference, raised the issue of making availability of on line journals, promoting skill oriented programmes which includes personality development programmes and also highlighted the issue of increasing scholarships to maximum number of research scholars enrolled in M. Phil and PhD programmes.
Mr. Krishan Dev Singh appealed to the vice chancellor to clear the stand on the point of requirement policy and must provide the information about the backdoor appointees who have been disengaged and also for those who are still working in the campus and must clear
the parameters that why some of the people were not disengaged who entered the university with following the recruitment policy.
The vice chancellor gave the patient hearing to the delegation and assured them for the absolute redressal of their issues and promised them to sponsor the scholars for participating in All India Conferences, who are supposed to present papers in the same and also assured to put the mater of scholarship to the maximum scholars in the coming University Council Meeting.
Senior Research Scholars who interacted on the several issues with Vice Chancellor includes Mr. Jasbir Singh Katoch, Mr.Vishal Pathania, Mr. Mahesh Koul, Mr. Sunil Kumar and Mr. Pankaj Mansotra.
